Compliance

Oomph booth complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which is administered and enforced by the Australian Commission and Consumer Commission (ACCC) & Victorian consumer protection agencies with the involvement of Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) where relevant.

Deposit

A $200 deposit is required for all bookings in order to lock in the service date. The remaining service agreement balance is payable no later than a month prior to the service date.

All deposits are non-refundable unless in the event that the provider (Oomph Booth) is notified of a date change request no later than 60 days prior to the initial service date, in which case the deposit in question will be fully transferable to the new date.

Bookings

Should the provider be at fault in being unable to fulfill his obligations in part or in their entirety, a refund proportional to the extent of the completion of the service will be awarded limited to the initial service agreement fee. Noteworthy points include the following:

  • The provider is to be operational for a minimum of 85% of the service agreement duration (to allow for maintenance and material changes as well as any potential technical difficulties), any additional ‘down time’ will be compensated pro-rata of the full service fee to the client.
  • In the case of any unanticipated changes to the service, the client will be notified immediately to determine a reasonable response and/or compensation scheme should it be required.
